About Chef Scott
Scott Wedge is the Executive Chef and Owner of Latin Fusion Foods. Chef Scott grew up in Sacramento, California where he learned the joy of cooking from watching his father cook. In 1999 Chef Scott moved to Arizona. He and his wife Becky celebrated ten years of marriage in April 2012 and are the proud parents of eight children. With the love and encouragement from his wife, Chef Scott decided to follow his passion for the culinary arts and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale, Arizona. After graduation Chef Scott created Latin Fusion Foods in which he caters, peddles and wholesales his Latin fusion foods throughout Arizona and has generated a passionate and loyal following.
Latin Fusion Foods has been a labor of love, allowing Chef Scott to express his passion for Latin American Cuisine. Chef Scott speaks fluent Spanish. His love for Latin culture and food began when he lived in Guatemala for two years as a missionary. Chef Scott has immersed himself into Latin American Cuisine studying ingredients, foods, and recipes that are particular to different regions and countries throughout Mexico, but with an emphasized focus on Central and South America. Chef Scott hopes to showcase the different styles of food, ingredients and cooking while serving the many wonderful countries throughout Central and South America. Eventually he wants to tour throughout parts of Mexico and all Central and South America to capture the food essence of these countries and create a fusion that can be shared with everyone.
